Can the rear wheels of a vehicle trigger red light cameras?
Because I drive a bus, the camera triggered on me even when most of the front portion of my bus was already in the intersection before the lights turned red, this happened to me a few months back and I didn't get any notices.
The cameras are triggered by radar guns. After the light turns red, if the gun sees movement, the cameras go into action. The pics are then reviewed to see if there actually IS any violation. In YOUR case, there was none, so you didn't get a citation.
