how do i make homemade mask of the red death makeup?

i want to be the mask of the red death for halloween and i have stage blood but have no idea how to make black face paint for my eyes and i don't have any cream and don't want to buy any i once found a recipe that only calls for corn starch and shortening and that worked but i cannot find it again if any one knows of where i can find the recipe or other recipe ideas it would be much appreciated. thanks.
