Well you obviously missed that RED suit that Palin wore all the time. Lol. Anyway there is a practical reason for the color choices of the candidates and their families . . the camera likes solid colors like RED and BLUE. Many people who appear on camera where solid colors, especially women. Men usually choose black suits and a colorful tie.

Candidates choosing these solid colors extends all the way back to when television was first introduced as a meduim.

You are placing way too much significance on this . . all women involved in politics choose solid colors like red or blue depending on the situation . . except, perhaps Hillary Clinton who chose to wear pantsuits. Lol.

Democrats wear red. And Republicans wear blue. Lol. Happens all the time. Politicians like to wear red because they think they look better in these colors . . has nothing to do with the party they belong to. Lol.

However, the dress itself was absolutely hideous. It made Mrs. O look like a penguin... only with a red belly. If she WAS trying to make a statement, the statement was that she has no taste in clothes.

Lol. I see where you're going with that, but I think it's just a case of black & red being 2 great colors that go really well together. I wear those colors a lot too.
