Red background & what color clothing?

I'm designing a stage play & the background/drop is deep red. I was wondering what colors of the costumes would look great on the actors so they won't blend in with the background & I kinda want them to pop out.

Is it okay to use deep blue, orangey shades & creamy brown?
I know it's really tricky using a red drop. But I was considering it to be only silhouette. I chose red because it's a room part of a royal house.
