Red Bumps on baby face and body?

My son is 7 months old and today he woke up with these red bumps all over his body. It isnt tons but still quite a few. They dont seem to be bothering him and he doesnt have any fever. What could these bumps be? I dont think they're bug bites because i was sleeping next to him ad i dont ave any. They are red bumps that are kinda poofy. He has most of them on his arms. any idea. And yes im taking him to the Pedi on Monday just thought id ask.
