Default How do you wear a red dress? What about accessories?

I'm wearing a floor length, strapless, fire engine red satin dress. I have a fair complexion and light brown hair. I'm wearing my hair up. I need help deciding what make-up to use and what kind of accessories to wear. I was considering doing smokey eyes, but I think my complexion might be a little too fair. Also, I'm thinking of doing gold jewelry, but one wrong move and I'll never hear the end of it from this little snob that's, unfortunetly, going to be there. HELP!!!!!

red= silver(at least thats what i wear with red. gold blends in)
lipstick= just gloss, heavy lipstick looks weird with red
hair= try half up half down since it is strapless
earings for sure! because it is strapless
eyes= i dont think smokey will go, sorry
necklace= one of those long ones you can double over!
hpe you have fun!!
p.s dont worry about the snob : )

neutral make-up will help you appear flawless. brown eyeshadow, mascara, and a touch of blush, topped off with a light gloss. gold jewelry would work, but silver stands out more. black jewelry would make more of a statement. as for that snob, be confident about yourself. and telling yourself you look waaay better than she does will give you a boost.

I would suggest no necklace, dangly silver earings, and a silver orr rhinsestone bracelet. for make up, dont do any colors (your dress is bright enough) ttry ashy or a whits. white looks really pretty with light eyeliner and mascara. since you have light skin try a coral pink for lip gloss.
Good Luck!

I suggest
NO necklace
long red earring
heel sandal (in gold, red)
red beaded clutch (gold is also ok)
red stone bracelet
NO smoky eyes
matching lipstick(shinny)
big and prominent ring with red diamond
